Whether you are looking to complete a GED, improve your English or learn new skills to keep up with the demands of changing technology and the workforce, the Family Success Center at Children & Families First is here to support you.

WHAT IS THE FAMILY SUCCESS CENTER?

The Family Success Center is an integrated services program funded by United Way of Greater Greensboro to help low-income families further their education and acquire the skills necessary to secure and maintain sustainable employment, and improve their overall well-being through:

  • GED Classes
  • Money Management
  • Coaching
  • Health and Wellness
  • Workforce Development Training
  • Career Readiness

With most classes conveniently located in Children & Families First’s Central Office, participants can attend classes while their children are cared for on-site by highly qualified childcare professionals – and at no cost.

Family Success Center participants enjoy benefits that include:

  • Flexible scheduling – classes are offered Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
  • Bus passes or gas cards to get to class
  • Meals at each class
  • Child care for any child not in Head Start or the public school system
  • A special graduation ceremony
