C. Robin Britt, Executive Director of Guilford Child Development’s Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program and member of the NFP National Board of Directors, was honored with the Frances Newsome Miller Award at the North Carolina Nurses Association (NCNA) annual meeting.

Mr. Britt, who is also the incoming Chair for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Nursing Advisory Board, was presented the award as a non-nurse with the following attributes:

• Depicts an awareness of the nursing profession and its values and goals;
• Demonstrates persistent and extended commitment to the promotion and advancement of the nursing profession;
• Widely recognized at the state and national level as being a champion of nursing;
• Demonstrates distinguished leadership in health care issues relevant to the nursing profession.
